In-Situ Compensation (ISC)
Features and Benefits
- Fast In-Situ measurements
- Simulates standard conditions
- Compensation of room modes
- Calibration of measurement rooms and test boxes
- Accurate transient measurement
Most standard measurements are performed at a single point (e.g. 1m On-Axis). The In-Situ Room Compensation (ISC) module copes with an imperfect acoustical environment by calculating a complex filter that compensates for room effects. Using this technique, simulated free field data can be acquired according to the IEC standard 60268-21.
